Xiaomi Mi A3 with 6-inch AMOLED display, triple rear cameras launched in India


Today Xiaomi launched the Mi A3, the company’s latest Android One smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.088-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 3D curved glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection that offers holographic effect.


It is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC with up to 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie), and the company has promised that it will be one of the first devices to get Android Q update.


The phone features a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 32MP front camera that merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels for better low-light images and AI beautify mode.

It has seventh gen in-display fingerprint scanner with a 15% increased fingerprint detection area. It also has splash-resistant P2i coating to prevent the phone from everyday splashes and spills. The Mi A3 packs a 4030mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 18W fast charging, still comes with 10W charger it the box.


The Xiaomi Mi A3 comes in Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Grey colors. It is priced at INR 12,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, INR 15,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. It will be available from Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from August 23rd and will be available from offline stores soon.
