Realme 5 Pro with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 712, Quad rear cameras launched in India

Realme just launched the Realme 5 Pro, the company’s latest mid range smartphone along with the Realme 5, as it had promised. It has a plastic back with holographic finish and the company has used nano-mirror technique texture. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dewdrop notch display with 90.6% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 712 10nm SoC with up to 8GB RAM, Hyperboost 2.0.

It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. It has Quad rear camera setup - a 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide lens a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP sensor for 4cm macro shots. It also has 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, same as Realme X. The phone is also Splash resistant to protect the phone from light rain and splashes.

The phone packs  a 4035mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging that lets you charge the phone up to 55% in just 30 minutes with the bundled VOOC 3.0 charger in the box and also comes with USB Type-C port.

The 5 Pro comes in Sparkling Blue and Crystal Green color. It is priced at INR 13,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, INR 14,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and INR 16,999 for the top-end 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version.

It will go on sale on Flipkart and starting from September 4th and will soon be available from offline. The company has also introduced Realme Iconic case for the phone at Rs. 399, which will go on sale from September 21st.
