LG K50S with FullVision display and K40S with military-level durability announced
LG has announced K50s and K40s smartphones in the K series ahead of IFA 2019. Both of these smartphones are the successor of the K50 and K40, that were introduced at the MWC earlier this year. These phones have a 19.5:9 aspect ratio HD+ FullVision Display. Both are powered by 2GHz Octa-Core SoC with upto 3GB of RAM.
These are MIL-STD-810G compliant that can withstand impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity. These also features rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and have a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The LG K50S comes with three rear camera setup: 13MP with PDAF, 5MP Super Wide, and 2MP lens with Depth Sensor, while the LG K40S has13MP lens with PDAF and 5MP Super Wide Angle camera. These also have a 13MP front camera.
These have 4,000mAh and 3,500mAh battery respectively. These have DTS:X 3D Surround Sound that simulates a 7.1-channel surround sound to make any content more immersive when playing games, streaming movies or music via earphones.
The LG K50S and K40S come in New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue colors. These will roll out in Europe, Latin America and Asia starting in October. The price will be revealed closer to the launch. These will be showcased at the IFA 2019 next month.
