Apple iPhone 11 announced with 6.11-inch display and A13 Bionic, India price starts at INR 64,900
At its special event Apple announced the iPhone 11, the successor of iPhone XR. iPhone 11 features 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display and is powered by new A13 Bionic chip. Apple claims that the A13 Bionic is up to 20% faster CPU and GPU than the Bionic A12, and is the fastest chipset present in any smartphone.
iPhone 11 runs on iOS 13 that brings features like dark mode, Sign in with Apple. It drops the 3D Touch Pressure sensitivity feature for Haptic Touch. It comes with a dual-camera system, Night mode for photos, improved IP68 water resistance (2 meters for up to 30 minutes) and six new gorgeous colors.
The iPhone houses a dual rear camera setup- a 12MP wide-angle main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation and a 12MP secondary ultra-wide-angle shooter with f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field of view. It alsohas a 12-megapixel front shooter that is capable of shooting video in 4K as well as slo-mo videos. It offers a wider output if you switch to the landscape mode.
New camera software features include next-generation Smart HDR, improved Night Mode, and enhanced Portrait Mode. The dual rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60fps and are paired by 36 percent brighter flash than the one in iPhone XR.
In terms of the battery life, Apple claims the iPhone 11 will offer “one hour more than iPhone XR” on a single charge. To give you a reference point, iPhone XR easily lasted a full day and the phone went on for over 13 hours in HD video loop test.
The iPhone 11 comes in purple, green, yellow, black, white and PRODUCT(RED) colors. It will priced starting at INR 64,900. It will be available through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers starting from September 27th.
